Column Capital Restoration
Tasked with the restoration of the column capitals within the gallery of London’s most historic concert venue, a survey was undertaken to ascertain the full extent of the damage, and to gage the number of repairs needed to complete the works. Silicon moulds were taken of the different enrichments of the capital to for us to replicate each element.
Once replicated, each of the components was individually set in place by our expert installation team and decorated to the architect’s specification to match the original capital, to restore its historical detail and splendour.
